from alcohol related injuries or motor vehicle accidents. Why do you think that
value is so high (please explain your answer)?

3. (1 pt) What
is the Neurobiological Effect that drinking alcohol has?
3. (2 pts). How does alcohol
affect the Brain and Central Nervous System. Include
in your answer the effect on neurotransmitters and the role of fatty acid by products.

4. (3 pts) How is alcohol
absorbed in the body? Include in your answer how alcohol is broken down by the
enzyme alcohol dehydrogenase.

information). And explain how factors such as food and gender (male or female)
can affect the absorption and metabolism of alcohol.
